Thursday, March 31, 2005 The Next Conversatio :: Technology and the (emerging) Church Monday night, April 4th, we're planning on recording our next conversation. This time the conversation will be on Technology and the (emerging) Church. I'm hoping to put together something of a rough outline for us to follow. This will hopefully keep us on track, but still allow for the seredipitious moments of conversational bliss. With that in mind, I'm creating a del.icio.us for that purpose: del.icio.us/kline/Podcast-tech-church. Check it out and if you have links that I should add email them to me or stick them in the comments here. Topics I'm thinking we'll cover are: - What are the impact of blogs in the church? - How is/can RSS (and similar technologies) be used in the church? - Best uses of Podcasting for the Church? - Global voices for global ears - the Mclaren book ebay story - The uses, abuses, and fears of technology for the Church - ________________ (your idea here) posted by Aaron @ 4:34 PM |

Tuesday, March 29, 2005 Change & Liminality (3.28.05) - Len Hjalmarson, Eric Herron This is basically part 2 of the conversation with Len. However, the conversation (as conversations are apt to do) morphed from being strictly about Worship to a more foundational discussion of Change and Liminality and how they are pervasive in our society and church. Thanks so much to Len and Eric for conversing for an hour last night! We're getting better at this recording deal. I hope the quality is noticeably better and easier to listen to. Please send feedback so I know how this is being received and ideas for future conversations to conversatio@gmail.com Conversation Notes: Links we mention: Eric Herron's Blog (and Worship Renaissance site) Len Hjalmarson's Blog Lectionary readings for Easter Monday (The Lectionary Page) Mysteria by Chanticleer Feedback to - conversatio@gmail.com Download the file direct: Change & Liminality (3.28.05) - Len Hjalmarson, Eric Herron.mp3 Subscribe to the feed: posted by Aaron @ 8:45 AM |

Conversatio Fide Podcast 3.23.05 -- Relearning Worship Conversation Notes: Second show/conversation - still very rough, but improving. Feedback to conversatio@gmail.com Alan and I talk with Len Hjalmarson and Bill Bean about Relearning Worship. We start from Len's article - Worlds in Collision: Relearning Worship part 2 and just begin scratching the surface when we get disconnected. We'll record a part 2 and go deeper soon. Tribute to Stanley Grenz, ala Next Wave interview. New friend Brandon Dawson - communications from the silent planet, a song he wrote called "Say Anything". That's a wrap. Download mp3 direct here. Better yet, subscribe to the feed. Feedback to conversatio@gmail.com posted by Aaron @ 3:46 AM |
